Howdy out there!

Here are some good news:

First, our loyal supporter Kathi founded the THE VERY END STREETEAM, which is recruiting new members from everywhere now! If you dig the TVE stuff, would like to get free entrance to our shows and some more goodies, just add our street team to your friends and drop Kathi a line that you wanna be part of the TVE Death Squad! Your mission? Spreading the word of TVE (and some flyers here and there)!!

Then, a minitour with our fellow mates CAUSE FOR CONFUSION is scheduled for october. We'll focus on southern Germany this time, playing nice small clubs with at least one local band each night, and a few dates between october 13th and october 20th are yet to be announced - so watch out! And - if you're a booker, know a nice club or whatever - call us! By the way, we'll also be part of the CAUSE FOR CONFUSION release show in Mönchengladbach, taking place in the Roots Club september 19th...!

Minor adventures? Haha right! Volker just contributed a guitar solo on the track "The Cleansing" of PUNISH MY HEAVEN, who're recording at the Stage One Studio as we speak! Next wednesday Bjoern will do a bit of trilling on 3 songs, too!

That's it for now. Horns Up y'all...!!

Kick Rock show cancelled!

Unfortunately the complete event (a mix of soccer match & live show, which we have been looking forward to) has been cancelled today due to the severe health situation of the promoter. He tried to do everything possible to still make it happen, but finally the doctors told him to strictly take care of himself and go easy on things for at least 2 months. Of course we wish him all the best and a speedy recovery, and we´re looking forward to late 2009, when the Kick Rock show will be given a second try!

Thanks to the turock-guys for the support at the Sepultura-show. Here are some live- and backstage-pictures from the show.

Some good & bad news this time!

First the downer -- our promo agency Blacklist Promotion is no more. Due to decreasing capacities and her job at Germany's metal mag Rock Hard, Dani had no choice but to call it quits. We would like to thank her for all the support & friendship and wish her all the best for the future!

However, on the brighter side of things we have some cool shows ahead and more are yet to be confirmed, so take a look at our livedates, folks! Nevertheless we're always looking for shows, so if you're interested in making us play your backyard -- don't hesitate to contact us! Our new merch is going pretty well, too, so be quick and save a shirt for yourself! Apart from that the songwriting for our second album is running like a well-oiled 50-ton-tank and the new stuff puts a huge smile on our unshaved faces!

Finally, a bigger update for theveryend.net with loads of pics, reviews, videos, studio-diary, some freebies and other cools stuff is scheduled for the next weeks -- one may be curious :-)

Good news for all the American metalheads out there!
Our debut "vs. Life" will be released in the States on Tuesday, February 10th through Locomotive Music! So go and get your dose of gerrrman metal, folks!
Apart from that, a few sizes of our new merch are sold out already, and as Germany is having its heaviest winter since years, you better be quick and get yourself some new rags, eh?

Here´s a final news entry for two-zero-zero-eight! If you want to do us a favour, click on this link, scroll down to our album and vote for us: http://www.imm3moria.org.

We don´t exactly get the point cause it´s french haha, but we suppose you can vote for „Vs. Life“ being the album of 2008 – and for us it damn sure is THE album of 2008 ;-)

We also added our december faves, just in case anybody needs a tip what to listen to... What else can we say? New Year´s Eve lurks behind the corner, 2008 has been an eventful and exciting year, and we´re sure 2009 will be even heavier! The songwriting for album #2 is going well so far, and we´re pretty excited where it will lead us!

So, we wish you all a great New Year´s Eve! And last but not least - don´t forget to buy some of our new awesome merch! And of course our album if you haven´t got it yet ;-)

YEAH!

Theveryend.net is online again! Surely it was about time, cause today is not only the relaunch of our website, but also the release day of our debutlabum "vs. Life"...!! Loads of sweat, blood & tears were spent to create this album, and we hope you all will dig it as much as we do!

11 songs / 46 minutes of massive music, mastered by Dan Swanö, wrapped in a killustrations artwork... a fuckin' load of metal...!!!

We also uploaded the songs "Stabwounds" and "Sewn Eye Sleep" to our myspace profile, so go and check them out -- or simply buy the album anyway ;-) ...cause you can't only buy the album at the common stores and online-stores, but also directly from us. We offer a package deal, including the "vs. Life" cd (signed by all bandmembers), a t-shirt and a sticker for only 20 euro incl p&p (This price is only valid for Germany, other residents please just ask). this deal will only be offered for a limited time, so if you dig it, hurry up and drop a line: info@theveryend.net...!

Check out what these guys gotta say about "vs.life":

"Great songs, excellent musicianship! It's rare to hear a band that sounds equally convincing player "modern metal" as well as classic metal and classic thrash!!
You have a bright future ahead of you if you play your cards right!!"
(Dan Swanö)

"...modern thrash/speed metal can't sound more variable (...) the transparent yet crushing production multiplies the whole album to one of the absolute highlights this year! You're through to the next round... Cheers ;-) ! "
(Tom Angelripper)

"Perfect sound (...) perfect interplay (...) perfect job"
(Legacy Mag)

"An extremely energetic and grooving package"
(Metal Hammer Mag)

"Time for new heroes from Germany!"
(Rock Hard Mag)

Of course we will add much more content to theveryend.net the next weeks. Tons of livepics, Making-Ofs and other stuff -- so make sure you stop by once in a while!

Damn sure we also want to present "vs. Life" on stage as often as possible -- which means we're looking for shows! If you?re interested in booking us, please do so and drop a line: theveryend@bcp-agency.com!

Alright, let's close this first news entry with a big fucking "Cheers" to all those who have helped THE VERY END getting to where we are right now -- at the beginning of a massive metal trip! Besides our families & friends we especially thank Dani & Simon @ Blacklist Promotion, our infernal engineers Hell-G & WMC, our photographer Roland and Christine & Dirk @ Dockyard 1 Records!

Cheers
